📍 Where is Nana’s DIY Studio located?
We’re located at Albisstrasse 102, 8134 Adliswil — just a short and easy ride from Zurich HB! Hop on the S4 train, and in about 15 minutes you’ll be here.
💻 How do I book a workshop?
You can send us an email: contact@nanadiy.ch or simply contact us via WhatsApp: +41 767259411— whatever’s easiest for you! We’ll help you pick a date, answer your questions, and get everything set for your creative session at the studio.
📅 Can I just walk in, or do I need a reservation?
Workshops are by appointment only so we can prepare everything just for you. But feel free to message us last-minute — sometimes there’s space!
💬 In which language are the workshops conducted?
The workshops are primarily conducted in English. My German isn’t perfect, but don’t worry — I’ll do my best to make everything clear!
🚗 Is there parking nearby?
Yes! You can find parking on Waldisstrasse, Büchelring, or Bernhofstrasse — all just a short walk from the studio. Plus, you can park for free up to 6 hours!
🎈 Do you offer private workshops or team events?
Yes, we offer both! Whether it’s a birthday, bachelorette party, team-building day, or just a cozy get-together with your favorite people — we are happy to host a special workshop just for you.

🧵 Do I need any experience to join?
Nope! We’ll teach you everything from 0 — no experience needed! Whether you’re a complete beginner or just want to try something new, we’ll guide you step by step.
🎁 What’s included in the price?
Everything you need! All the materials, tools, and guidance to create your masterpiece. And of course, at the end of the workshop, you’ll take home everything you made.
👶 Do you offer kids’ workshops or family-friendly options?
Yes, we do! For younger kids, we recommend our decoden projects — they’re super fun, creative, and family-friendly. It’s a great way for families to craft together!
🎨 What age is suitable for each workshop?
Each workshop is designed for different age groups:
Tufting Workshops: Best for ages 10+, as it involves some fine motor skills and focus.
Decoden Workshops: Perfect for all ages, from little ones to adults, especially fun for families!
Tote Bag Workshops: Suitable for ages 6+ (younger kids can join with a parent or guardian).
🌟 What’s the difficulty level of each workshop?
Tufting Workshops: Moderate to advanced — you’ll be using a tufting gun to create your own rug or wall art, which involves some coordination and focus.
Decoden Workshops: Beginner-friendly — no special skills needed! You simply decorate with charms, pearls and cream-like glue. It’s all about having fun and letting your creativity shine.
Tote Bag Workshops: Beginner-friendly — you’ll use colorful fluffy yarn to decorate a fabric tote. No sewing or complex steps. Just your imagination and some yarn magic!
📆 Booking & Payment
💳 What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Twint, and credit card — whichever is easiest for you!
📆 Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Standard workshops:
To confirm your booking, we kindly ask for a small deposit:
For workshops under 100 CHF, the deposit is 20%.
For workshops 100 CHF and above, the deposit is 30%.
We understand that plans can change. If you need to make changes to your booking, please reach out as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to creating with you!
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made 3–6 days in advance are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.
However, if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, you may reschedule for a future session (subject to availability).
Group Bookings & Private Events:
For group bookings such as birthday parties or team events, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date. These sessions involve extra planning and material prep, so we kindly ask for longer notice for any changes.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made 7–13 days in advance are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event or no-shows are non-refundable.
If you notify us at least 72 hours in advance, we’ll do our best to help you reschedule (subject to availability).

👯♀️ Is there a group discount if I come with friends?
We do offer group discounts, but they are available only for specific workshops. If you’re coming with a group, feel free to ask, and I’ll let you know if there’s a special offer for the workshop you’re interested in!
⏳ How far in advance should I book?
It’s always better to book earlier! This helps ensure you get the date and time you want, especially if you’re planning for a special occasion or a weekend. But don’t worry — if you’re last minute, just ask, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
