tufting
In our interactive workshops, participants will discover the art of rug-making using power tufting machines. Over the course, you’ll gain hands-on experience with setting up tufting frames, stretching canvas, and operating tufting machines. The class will also guide you through the processes of cutting, gluing, and finishing your tufted creation.
The workshop fee covers all materials, including frames, cloth, yarn, and project-specific supplies, so you can take your finished rug 50×50 cm home with you.

decoden
Decoden, short for “decorated denwa” (Japanese for “decorated phone”), is a popular Japanese craft that involves decorating items with elaborate and playful designs. Using materials like silicone cream glue, colorful charms, pearls, and beads, you can create dazzling, personalized accessories.
The class will guide you through the techniques of applying adhesive, layering decorations, and achieving a polished, professional finish.
The workshop fee includes all necessary materials, so you can bring your personalized, one-of-a-kind creation home with you.

Hey, I’m Yuanyu!
I’ve lived in a few countries — China, Germany, the Netherlands — and now Zürich is home. Each move changed me a little: more brave, more open, more willing to try things before I feel ready.
In 2024, right after my 28th birthday, I opened my studio in Zürich. Not because I had a perfect plan — but because I needed a place that felt like warmth. A place where making things is allowed to be slow, imperfect, and joyful.
I run this studio alone: the dreamy part and the messy part. The setup, the workshops, the cleaning, the quiet moments in between. And honestly, I love it — especially when I get to watch people surprise themselves with what they can create.
