Where is Nana’s DIY Studio located?

We’re located at Huttenstrasse 5, 8006 Zürich — just a short and easy ride from Zürich HB! You can reach us in about 10 minutes by tram or bus. It’s a calm, central spot perfect for getting creative.

Can I just walk in, or do I need a reservation?

Workshops are by appointment only so we can prepare everything just for you. You can book a workshop with the link https://nanadiy.ch/booking/

In which language are the workshops conducted?

The workshops are primarily conducted in English. My German isn’t perfect, but don’t worry — I’ll do my best to make everything clear!

Is there parking nearby?

Parking in the area is very limited. While you might find occasional paid street parking around Huttenstrasse or nearby side streets, spots are not guaranteed. We strongly recommend coming by public transportation — the studio is easily reachable by tram and bus!

Do you offer private workshops or team events?

Yes, we offer both! Whether it’s a birthday, bachelorette party, baby shower, team-building day, or just a cozy get-together with your favorite people — we are happy to host a special workshop just for you.

Can I bring snacks or drinks?

Do I need any experience to join?

Nope! We’ll teach you everything from 0 — no experience needed! Whether you’re a complete beginner or just want to try something new, we’ll guide you step by step.

What’s included in the price?

Everything you need! All the materials, tools, and guidance to create your masterpiece. And of course, at the end of the workshop, you’ll take home everything you made.

Do you offer kids’ workshops or family-friendly options?

Yes, we do! For younger kids, we recommend our decoden projects — they’re super fun, creative, and family-friendly. It’s a great way for families to craft together!

What age is suitable for each workshop?

Each workshop is designed for different age groups:

Tufting Workshops: Best for ages 10+, as it involves some fine motor skills and focus.

Decoden Workshops: Perfect for all ages, from little ones to adults, especially fun for families!

Tote Bag Workshops: Suitable for ages 6+ (younger kids can join with a parent or guardian).

What’s the difficulty level of each workshop?

Tufting Workshops: Moderate to advanced — you’ll be using a tufting gun to create your own rug or wall art, which involves some coordination and focus.

Decoden Workshops: Beginner-friendly — no special skills needed! You simply decorate with charms, pearls and cream-like glue. It’s all about having fun and letting your creativity shine.

Tote Bag Workshops: Beginner-friendly — you’ll use colorful fluffy yarn to decorate a fabric tote. No sewing or complex steps. Just your imagination and some yarn magic!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Twint, and credit card — whichever is easiest for you!

 Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to make changes to your booking, please reach out as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to creating with you!

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:

• Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop will receive a full refund of the deposit.

• Cancellations made 3–6 days in advance are eligible for a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made within 3 days or no-shows are non-refundable.

• However, you’re welcome to move your booking up to 3 days before the workshop, subject to availability.

How far in advance should I book?

It’s always better to book earlier! This helps ensure you get the date and time you want, especially if you’re planning for a special occasion or a weekend. But don’t worry — if you’re last minute, just ask, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
